Celebrate the Power of Apprenticeships With us This National Apprenticeship Week

We know from hosting apprenticeship programmes over the last few years how much of an impact these programmes have. Because they are based on implementing ideas and on-the-job learning, they can have a much greater impact compared to theory-based classroom learning. These programmes give learners skills for life to create high-performing teams, such as coaching skills to empower your people to find their own solutions and frameworks such as Pre-Approval.

Each of our apprenticeship programmes can be fully funded by the Apprenticeship Levy, and learners receive a recognised national qualification at the end of the course.

In our online session, we will discuss the power of apprenticeships and some success stories, where our programmes have inspired real change to the culture of an organisation.

You will also hear from Alesia and Hydah, two of our inspirational learners, about what they learnt on the programme. They will also share what the experience of being an apprentice was like, both the benefits and some of the challenges.

At the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to ask Alesia and Hydah questions about the programmes as well as our apprenticeship team about the application process and administrative side.

Who is this event for?

Whether you are considering your first formal leadership training at Level 3, or want to change the culture of your organisation to one based on trust, this session will give you insights into Happy’s apprenticeship programmes: the benefits, the commitment required, and what it’s like to work and study on an apprenticeship.

What are the timings of the event?

This session will take place from 1.30 – 3pm on Tuesday 11th February. It will be hosted online via Zoom.

This will include:

• A short introduction by your host, Maureen Egbe;
• A session on the power of apprenticeships and gaining skills for life from Happy facilitator DJ Singh;
• 2 x 15 minute sessions from Alesia and Hydah about their apprentice experience;
• Activities to keep you engaged throughout the session;
• Optional information session about apprenticeship programmes.
