In: BlogDate: Oct 02, 2024By: Claire Lickman

Join us for a free, interactive online celebration on Tuesday, 15th October from 10am, as we honour Black History Month and showcase the incredible talent within our Global Majority leadership community.

Hi, we are Happy

We are leading a movement to create happy, empowered and productive workplaces.

How can we help you and your people to find joy in at least 80% of your work?

More about Happy

Diversity at work matters more than ever before. No longer can organisations ignore the huge impact that having a diverse range of perspectives has - encouraging new ideas and creative solutions. Diverse organisations win top talent, improve their customer satisfaction and have better decision making, resulting in a huge competitive advantage.

Happy’s Global Majority apprenticeship programmes are designed to amplify these voices and create a new generation of leaders who reflect the rich diversity of our society.

In this free online event on 15th October, we will start the day with a session on how to network effectively, setting you up for success. This will then be followed with an interactive networking session.

You will also hear from inspiring Global Majority leaders, including Femi Otitoju. Femi is a diversity and inclusion specialist. She has pioneered Unconscious Bias training in the UK, and is a charismatic and inspiring speaker.

Support your aspiring and current managers from Global Majority backgrounds with happy

Ideally, conversations around the challenges that those from Global Majority backgrounds face happen when everyone is in the room.

However, the reality is  that in communities where people feel oppressed, they do not always feel safe to talk about it.

Happy's Global Majority Leadership Apprenticeship Programmes are designed to give new (Level 3) and experienced managers (Level 5) the space to talk, process, and gain the confidence and tools to advocate for change. They will be equipped with the skills they need to navigate organisational culture with a clearer perspective on their own potential, and expand their professional strengths.
