Happy's Culture Recognised With Leadership Excellence Award
Happy is delighted to announce that they have won the Leadership Excellence Award for Organisations in the 2024 Leadership Awards.
The Leadership Awards are hosted by The Institute of Leadership, and this year's awards ceremony took place on Friday 15th November at the Hilton London Bankside. Maureen Egbe and Sheena Morris accepted the award on Happy's behalf. The Awards highlighted 85 outstanding individuals and organisations across their 10 different awards categories.
Hi, we are Happy
We are leading a movement to create happy, empowered and productive workplaces.
How can we help you and your people to find joy in at least 80% of your work?
The Leadership Excellence Award is given to organisations that demonstrate all five of their Dimensions of Leadership: Authenticity, Vision, Achievement, Ownership and Collaboration. The Leadership Excellence Award recognises an organisation that has integrity, inspires leaders to take action, keep themselves accountable and forward thinking in terms of the future of their organisations. It’s a wide number of different requirements that all feel in-line with Happy’s key principles, so we are delighted to have achieved this award.
Happy’s goal is to create happy workplaces and make sure that they are the default, not an exception. As we are a workplace consultancy and training provider, we do this through our innovative programmes that focus on creating cultures of empowerment and ideas of employee first organisations.
Henry Stewart, Happy’s Chief Happiness Officer, stated: "Happy leads with integrity, partnering only with clients who share our values. Our commitment to transparency and leadership development ensures a genuine, values-driven approach to creating empowering workplaces.
"Over the last year, Happy has been able to achieve a large number of things. We are proud to say that we are one of the top 50 most progressive organisations in the world according to Corporate Rebels, we are the number one best workplaces for women in the SME section of the Great Place to Work and we made it on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List. Adding this new award to our list of achievements this year is a fantastic way to close out 2024."
We have achieved all of this by listening to our people and making sure that wellbeing and inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. For example, by implementing the four-day work week, we have made sure that our people are well rested and have a true work-life balance. These changes have also increased our people’s productivity, increased sales, and hit higher client satisfaction levels.
This all shows that having a happy, empowered workplace is something to be proud of, and the standard that all organisations should aim for.
