The Office App is Becoming the Microsoft 365 App: What You Need to Know

Users of The Office App may have spotted some significant changes due to a rebranding to The Microsoft 365 App.

In this blog, Happy trainer Ebbie quickly highlights and explains how to start navigating these changes.

Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based subscription service that has evolved over the years and soon the Microsoft Office Apps found on the Web and Desktop (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) will fall completely under the Microsoft 365 umbrella.

And this is what some of you may have noticed when logging in:


 

Therefore, this is just a quick heads up, so you don’t look surprised when you wake up to the new icon, look, and its additional features. These changes will apply to everyone who uses the Office App at work or home and also in schools.
