Upcoming IT Classroom Public Classroom Courses
Introduction to Excel
This beginner level course is perfect if you are new to spreadsheets or are not confident with adding calculations and formula to your spreadsheets. You'll get to grips with all the basics, including creating, opening and saving documents, sorting and filtering your data, and getting Excel to add numbers for you.

Excel for Intermediate Users
This intermediate level course is designed for those with some experience of using Excel and creating basic formulas. You will learn time-saving techniques including Conditional Formatting, range names and formulas such as Average, Min, Max and Count IF. You will also learn how to create a basic Pivot Table to summarise large sets of data quickly and easily.

Excel for Advanced Users
This more advanced course will improve your ability to organise and analyse data. You will take functions further and be able to make them more powerful by nesting them.
Join us at Happy on 11th February or 8th April.
Excel for Expert Users
By the end of this Level 4 course, you will feel more confident problem-solving in Excel. For example, you will be able to compare lists of data in order to spot similarities and differences, you will be able to 'LOOKUP' data and return the value of a cell in a table/range based on the column and row number using a variety of functions. You will also learn how to solve problems in fewer steps than with traditional formulas using dynamic array functions.

Assertiveness 1 Day Workshop
This one-day Assertiveness course will help you to analyse your current behaviour patterns and situations where you are experiencing difficulty. We will look at the challenges of being assertive with colleagues online and communicating with those around you.

Happy Leadership Programme
In this leadership programme, you will gain personal insight and develop practical leadership and management skills to create a high performing team. You will develop your coaching skills and how to put your people at the heart of what you do.
You will learn through 4 x 1 day sessions in the classroom. You will also have self-guided assignments to complete through our Happy Leadership Portal on Fuse, with online resources available to access throughout the programme and beyond.

Expert Presentation Skills
This presentation skills workshop considers the importance of preparation before giving a presentation, speech or talk – being sure you know what you want to say and organising your material. You will discuss and examine the use of audio-visual aids (such as PowerPoint slides), effective self-presentation and will have an opportunity to deliver a short presentation to your group.

Effective Time Management 1 Day Workshop
This one-day time management training course explores the need for reflection, planning, organising, setting goals and responding to day-to-day activities and demands. It'll also help you decide what activities give you the biggest return at work and in life. You will consider what methods of time management are possible in your situation and learn how to make time management a daily practice.

Coaching Fundamentals 1 Day Workshop
This one-day Coaching Fundamentals programme will enable you to distinguish coaching from mentoring and other leader behaviours. We will build a clear ethos of coaching and help you discover its benefits. You will leave with a simple coaching model that you can start to use straight away. You will also have the confidence to use coaching skills in the moment to nurture an individual’s ability to uncover the deeper issues impacting their situation and solve their own problems.

Practical Coaching Tools for Leaders 1 Day Workshop
This one-day Practical Coaching Tools for Leaders programme will explore a variety of structures and tools to help people go deeper in their thinking and discover practical solutions at work. During the day, you will not only practice coaching others, but also get to experience it as a coachee and observer.

Creative Coaching for Leaders 1 Day Workshop
On our one-day Creative Coaching for Leaders programme, you will explore a variety of approaches to help people express and process their emotions and challenge their thinking. For example, you will discover some common cognitive distortions and how to use them in coaching to disrupt ingrained thinking patterns, and how to use drawing and imagery to surface and express emotions.

Next Steps in Project Management - Overcoming Common Challenges
This course is for people with project management experience who are already working to a process (project initiation prior to planning, stakeholder mapping and engagement, scheduling, and managing risk), or have attended our one-day Introduction, but now need to take more control of projects.
