I’m now back from my sabbatical and, while I was away, our people at Happy decided to make the four-day week (currently a six-month pilot) permanent. It has been a remarkable success. In this blog I talk about the key results of the survey that informed the decision to go permanent.
The Happy Manifesto Podcast, based on the principles in the award-winning management book The Happy Manifesto, will be launching on 12th January 2023. Happy is very proud to have been rated one of the best 15 workplaces in Europe, in the small company category. It is based 70% on a survey of staff and 30% on the submission we send to back this up. We offer a range of public classroom courses from our IT skills, Personal Development and Leadership programmes. These sessions are open to all. We also offer a range of Live Online Interactive Learning courses as public dates. Each of these classroom public courses will be held at Happy's HQ in Aldgate, central London.

Happy has just started the six month trial of a four-day working week being organised in the UK by 4 Day Week Global. We are joining over 60 other organisations in this pilot. We discussed it at a staff meeting earlier in the year, carried out a survey and our people voted 16-1 to go for a permanent four-day week, as long as the pilot succeeds.
